Dhaka IT Club Limited – Privacy Policy

This policy applies to all of our services, including BDIX Shared Hosting, Domain, cPanel/WHM, our order/billing portal, support/ticketing, websites, and any related services we provide.

1) Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to websites, the order/billing portal, support systems, and hosting platforms operated by Dhaka IT Club Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). Third-party websites/services are governed by their own policies.

2) Data We Collect

  • Account Data: name, email, phone, billing/invoicing address.
  • Order/Billing Data: plans purchased, transaction references, invoice history. (Sensitive card data is not stored on our servers; it’s handled by the payment gateway.)
  • Technical Logs: IP address, browser/device info, server/app/error logs, BDIX/network metrics.
  • Support Data: ticket conversations and any attachments you provide.
  • Hosting Content: website/database/email data you host with us (you retain ownership; we process it only as operationally required).

3) How We Use Data

  • Create/manage accounts, process orders, billing and invoicing.
  • Provide hosting, domains, cPanel/email, backups, security, and customer support.
  • Improve services, monitor performance (e.g., LiteSpeed/CloudLinux/Imunify360), and prevent abuse/fraud.
  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
  • Send updates, service notices, and promotional communications (you can opt out of marketing anytime).

5) Cookies & Tracking

  • Session cookies for login state and the order/billing portal.
  • Analytics/performance metrics (with IP anonymization where feasible).
  • You can control cookies via browser settings; some features may not function without them.

6) Data Sharing

  • Service Providers: datacenters, domain registries/registrars, payment gateways, email/SMS providers, security/backup vendors—only to the extent necessary.
  • Legal Reasons: to comply with valid law-enforcement/court requests.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

7) Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit, access controls, firewalls/DDoS protection, Imunify360, CloudLinux (CageFS), and regular backups. While no method is 100% secure, we strive to protect your data diligently.

We retain data for as long as needed for legal/contractual requirements and legitimate business purposes. After account closure, limited data may be kept for billing, audit, and legal reasons for a period permitted by law.
